Abbeyfield School students celebrate another record breaking year, with Academic results improving again on last year. 50% of students achieved at least one A*-B, A*-A went up by 5% with A*-B grades following the same pattern; there are some excellent individual results and we are thrilled that all of our students are going to the universities of their choice.
Principal David Powell said “I am delighted with another great set of results that reflect all of the hard work and effort that has been put in again this year by both staff and students; our overall results have improved yet again with students, on average, scoring a third of a grade more across the board. The number of Abbeyfield students that go off to prestigious Russell Group universities continues to rise and we are privileged to be able to work with such a wonderful group of young people”.
A special mention needs to go to Sanjeet Kaur with A* A* A* in Maths, Further Maths and Physics; impressively, Sanjeet got full marks in her maths A Level and will be taking up a place at Imperial College, London. Other mentions need to go to Olivia Taylor, A* A* B; Callum Slinn, A* A* A; Poppy Eccles, A*A B; Richmund Rosales, A* A C; Gabriella Teriaca A* A* B and Joshua Bastow, A B C.
We are privileged to have been able to be a part in the futures of these amazing young people.
