Bake Off

We are excited to advertise our annual staff and student bake off. We are raising money for Stand Up to Cancer and are looking for creative yet tasting bakers! There is no criteria other than it needs to be edible.

Please bring all cakes to Miss Sharp in the Performing Arts office before school on Friday 5th April. Cakes will be judged by Mrs Robson and the student leadership team Break A and then sold from Mr Hall’s classroom window Break B.

Prices will be between 50p/£1 depending on the size, however all donations welcome!

We look forward to seeing this year’s skills!

Enterprise Challenge

Well done to team ‘Turbine Woods Ltd’ for winning 2nd prize in last year’s Enterprise Challenge with Routed and Ready. Last summer Year 8 Design Technology students all competed to create an eco-housing estate design resulting in a Dragon’s Den style final with the winning group being entered for the county-wide competition.

A big congratulations to Saniya, Amelie, Tabitha, Maisie, Alana, Isabelle and Abigail.

E-Safety Event

Our annual Online Safety Evening is being held on Monday 11th March from 6.30pm – 7.30pm.

The evening will be presented by Simon Aston, Northamptonshire County Council’s Online Safety Officer, and promises to be an informative and eye-opening event.

The event is open to all parents and carers of children who attend Abbeyfield School, and this year we are pleased to extend the invitation to Queen Eleanor Primary.

The evening will cover issues related to: Where young people are going online, Ways to keep young people safe online, focusing on online grooming and Digital Resilience and wellbeing.

We look forward to seeing you there.
