GCSE Results

Students today celebrated some outstanding results which represented their personal best and are a testament to their hard work and the support they had from their teachers, We are all very proud of them.

The percentage of students achieving the highest grades continues to rise with the overall percentage of grades 7-9 doubling across the school, a fantastic achievement.

The following students secured the very highest outcomes;
Annie Varney with 4 grade 9s and 5 grade 8s
Alba Cantero 4 at grade 9 and 6 at grade 8
Emily Mile Thom with 5 at grade 9, 2 at grade 8
Liam Hackett with 3 at grade 9 and 4 at grade 8
Ryan Wood also with 3 grade 9s and 6 at Grade 8.

In English the top grades rose by 6%, three quarters achieved a pass and over 60% of students achieved a strong pass, a fantastic result.

We are particularly delighted with a significant improvement in the attainment and progress of students classified by the government as disadvantaged. These results mean that all our students have the very best chances of future success.
