Charity Work

At Abbeyfield School Sixth Form we all recognise that, compared to many others in this country and abroad, we are extremely lucky. We aim to raise money to ensure that they can have an improved quality of life. We also recognise that we can have a good deal of fun doing it.

Our regular charitable causes are:

Children in Need and Red Nose Day

We support these great days by dressing up and doing a range of daft activities tp raise money for the important causes.

The Poppy Appeal

In November, we help in the selling of poppies to support the Royal British Legion. Money raised is used to help ex-services personnel overcome physical and mental injuries sustained in campaigns to preserve or establish peace across the world.

Find out more about The Poppy Appeal here.

If you have ideas on how we can raise money for charity or if you have a particular charity for which you think the Sixth Form should raise money, contact the Leading Students or a member of the Sixth Form Team.
